This website is the online home of Pony Gold, Colt Red, SuperColt Blue, and SuperColt Red, Brighton Heights Athletic Associations' teams for boys and young men ages 13-19. These teams all play on Field 3, and all compete in City BIG League play. Most of these players began their playing careers in BHAA's teeball program.

Check the Website
Team rosters, schedules, and notes are posted here, as well as information about events and other league activities. Whenever possible, rainout notices will be posted at our main website throughout the day. However, it is always best to contact your coach directly if there is any question.

Concession Stand Commitment
At registration, you paid a $15 concession stand fee. This fee will be refunded when a member of your son’s family completes a shift in the concession stand. A good portion of the league operating budget is dependent on the concession stand. A friend or family member age 14 or older can work in your place, just so that your son is represented. A member of BHAA’s Concession Stand Committee will contact you about scheduling your shift(s).

Proper Pitching Distances
Are you working at home with your young baseball player who is an aspiring pitcher? Remember to work with a throwing distance appropriate for your son's age. The measurements listed below reflect the distance from the pitching mound to homeplate in the respective age brackets:

Jr. Little League (ages 9-10) — 46 feet
Sr. Little League (ages 11-12) — 46 feet
Pony (ages 13-14) — 54.6 feet
Colt, SuperColt (ages 15-18) — 60 feet

Pony Bat Adjustment
The accepted dimensions of pony league bats has been adjusted for the 2008 season by City BIG League to a limit of -8.5. The previous limit was -7. The barrel width of 2 5/8 remains the same as last season. BHAA has purchased a few new -8.5 bats to accommodate younger pony players who are more comfortable swinging lighter bats.
